Because flowers are perishable and subject to seasonal, weather, and regional availability, we reserve the right to make substitutions when necessary. Our primary goal is to ensure your order is delivered on time while maintaining the overall aesthetic of the arrangement.
1. Style, Color, and Value Integrity
When a specific flower, foliage, or container is unavailable, our professional design team will select a replacement that adheres to the following guidelines:
Equal or Greater Value: Any substituted item will always be of equal or greater monetary value than the original component. You will never be charged extra for a premium upgrade.
Aesthetic Consistency: We will carefully match the original design's color palette, overall style, size, and shape.
2. Specific Substitution Guidelines
Single-Variety Arrangements: For arrangements centered on a single flower type (such as an all-rose bouquet or orchids), we focus first on matching the flower variety. If the color shown is unavailable, we may substitute it with an alternate color of the same flower.
Plants: For green or blooming plants, we may substitute a similar plant type of equal or greater value.
Vases and Containers: The containers shown in our product photography represent the style we intend to use. Due to supply chain variations, the exact vase, basket, or ceramic pot may vary. We will always use an alternative container of equal value and style.
3. Special Occasions and Major Holidays
Timely delivery is critical for milestone events such as funerals, anniversaries, and birthdays.
If a preferred flower is unavailable for a time-sensitive event, we will proceed with our professional substitution policy to ensure the arrangement arrives on time.
During high-demand holiday seasons (such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Christmas), flower availability changes rapidly. We highly encourage placing orders early and allowing flexibility for substitutions.
Our goal is to deliver your beautiful floral arrangements fresh, looking spectacular, and arriving in a timely fashion. To help ensure a seamless delivery process, please review our standard store delivery policies below.
Delivery Windows & Same-Day Cutoffs
To guarantee the freshest possible blooms, we operate within standard delivery windows and cut-off times:
Same-Day Delivery Cutoff: Orders placed before 12:00 PM (Monday–Friday) are eligible for same-day delivery. Orders received after this time will default to the next available business day. Orders received on or for Saturday must be placed by 10:00 AM to be eligible for same-day delivery.
Delivery Windows: Standard residential deliveries are made between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Commercial business deliveries are prioritized to arrive before 5:00 PM.
Timed / Expedited Requests: We do our best to accommodate specific time requests. Exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed without prior approval. We need 24-hour notice before approving the timing.
If the recipient is not home or available at the time of delivery, our drivers will use their professional discretion to ensure the safety of the arrangement. If a timed delivery is approved and the recipient is unavailable to receive the delivery, an additional charge may be applied.
Weather-Permitting Drop-offs: If the weather allows, flowers may be left safely on a porch, near a door, or with a neighbor. The driver will leave a note, call, or send a text notification to the recipient.
Extreme Weather: During periods of extreme heat, freezing temperatures, windy conditions, or severe storms, we will not leave arrangements outside. We reserve the right to not deliver orders at all during extreme weather. In such cases, we will deliver the arrangement when conditions have improved and it is safe for our delivery drivers. The driver will bring the flowers back to the shop, and we will contact the recipient or sender to arrange a redelivery time or date.
Redelivery Fees: If a delivery fails due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, a $10 redelivery fee may apply to route the order to the correct location. Additionally, if a timed delivery is approved and the recipient is unavailable to receive the delivery, an additional charge may be applied.
Hospitals: Deliveries to medical facilities will be made in accordance with individual hospital guidelines. Most facilities require flowers to be dropped off at a central reception or nurses' station rather than individual rooms. Note: Intensive Care Units (ICU) and some children's hospitals typically do not allow fresh flowers or balloons. Please check the facility’s rules before placing your order.
En Route Exceptions: Once an order has been created and is en route with our delivery drivers, it cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded without just cause.
